Chattanooga CARES  GLBT Hotline

The GLBT Hotline is on hiatus for a while.
If people are interested in getting trained
for when it is up and running again, they need to contact
Chattanooga Cares at 648-9939.

Soon (with funds raised from the Chattanooga CARES First Annual Gayla Ball 2003), the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) Hotline  will offer assistance a couple of hours a week. Volunteers will receive full training on how to handle calls and refer the call to services.

Please “adopt” the local Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Hotline  by becoming a volunteer. If our community is to continue to survive we must provide support for each other. Because surely nobody else will do it for us. If you have ever felt alone or isolated then you know how important these services are. Very soon when a gay man or woman is in trouble there will be a place they can turn to for help. Over the telephone. Free and anonymously. Today the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Hotline  is turning to you for help. Your help will make a tremendous difference. To volunteer call 648-GLBT (4528) and leave contact information.
