pro-family for ALL families and their issues. We are
pro-life for ALL living human beings. We believe in
full human rights for ALL peoples in the USA, and in the
world.
We believe in non-discrimination
against peoples of any kind.
We believe that ALL peoples in the USA and the world are equal.
We believe ALL children of ALL marriages are of great value.
We believe that ALL people of the USA and of the whole world are of
great value.
We believe that the modern
Christian movement should treat

An
All
Affirming Congregation is
one that welcomes Gays into all of the life of the local
church, and is gay-friendly, and believes one CAN
be Christian and Gay at the same time, since God
created all peoples including Gays.
We accept all people, no matter where on life's journey they are
at the moment. If you are seeking for truth and knowledge, and seeking
for a closer walk with God, come visit and grow with us.
We believe in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit
of God working in our hearts, souls, bodies,
minds, and in our lives to be more like Jesus. But that
process does NOT change our sexual
orientation any more then it changes our skin color
or gender. These are some things God will never do, nor
have any reason to change.
There are some Affirming Congregations in most
denominations today. You have to go to their local church website
to find more info.
This is opposed to
churches that are Transforming Congregations, which
means one can NOT be Christian and Gay, but they
welcome Gays that are seeking to transform into a "Straight"
lifestyle. We believe that view to be an utter impossibility, sinful,
and also un-Biblical, and against ALL modern scientific intelligence and
information.
Most churches are neither, that is, they ignore gay people
of faith, or else boot them out from their membership
and churches (which is very sad and very un-Christ-like).

(This also lists web pages no longer linked to from any main web page, no
longer in use, therefore old stuff, but I wanted to save them for
now, if I delete them, they are gone forever; they can only be
stored here in FrontPage format as far as I know; if I store them
off site, they will no longer be in FrontPage format [is this
true??]...) The following list is basically an
outline of this website: the top line is the Home page -Welcome
Home!, with the
other five
main links web pages under it, with all the other web pages indented under each main link
web page. (The Search and Contents web pages are separate entities
and still counted.)
On the Home web page top banner,
these six links are shown in the six Purple buttons across the
bottom of the banner. All web pages are accessed from these six link
buttons. I've added a few extra "button" links --the
purple area that has links to all of our Team Ministries plus other
links-- to access web pages that are not in the
main navigation buttons, or might be hard to find. If you
constantly have trouble finding a certain web page, let me know and I
might add another button to access it. Thanks. (In the future, I
will try to make all the link buttons look alike; right now I do not
know how, so this is the best I can do for now --lots more to learn
about creating and maintaining websites!) (Past e-Newsletters
are also listed here that are still on this website, but are NOT
counted. They will be
moved to the church wiki site as I get time. The month-year
web pages are
now also listed at the bottom. This gives more room on each page for the calendar itself
since there are no shared borders at the left side, nor at the
bottom, nor at the top. Beginning this June, 2006, the month-year
web
pages are being transferred to this main site as the current
month comes along as well as being re-programmed to the new
year and month. Of course, since we now have a wiki site, many
of these files
will be transferred to that site since there is so much more storage
area.) Instead, the calendar
web pages were in
a
SubSite under this main website, which did mean you could not view them from this
Contents web page since it was
a separate website. I did away with the SubSite,
and they are now all listed here also, but are NOT counted. |
